Lot 410a: A Collection of Ceramic and Patinated Horse Figurines Including Beswick RCMP Mounties
An assortment of decorative horse figurines, including several examples by Beswick. The collection features two Beswick ceramic figurines depicting members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in traditional Red Serge uniforms with stetson hats, red tunics, and blue breeches. These figures are mounted on chestnut horses and set upon integral cream-coloured bases. Also included is a variety of glazed ceramic horses, comprising a large bay horse with a white star to the forehead, a bay horse fitted with a black harness and collar, and a chestnut foal with a white blaze and three white socks on a matching integral base. The lot is completed by two dark, patinated figurines with a metallic finish, depicting a standing foal and a reclining foal on textured ground bases. Some items bear adhesive auction labels marked 410 A and 14.

Condition report:
The collection appears to be in good overall condition. The glazed ceramic pieces retain a high shine with no immediately visible chips, cracks, or significant repairs from the primary viewpoint. There is light surface dust and minor shelf wear consistent with age and display. The metallic-effect figurines show a consistent patinated finish.
