Lot 397: Leaded Stained Glass Sunburst Lampshade with Amber Cabochon Jewels
A leaded stained glass lampshade of shallow domed circular form. The decorative design features a central sunburst motif composed of radiating petal-shaped panels in white opalescent glass. This central element is encircled by concentric bands of dark amber glass cabochons set within leaded seams. The outer border consists of small, rectangular panels of textured cathedral glass in a pale grey-green tint. The shade is fitted with an integrated three-arm metal spider frame for mounting. Two adhesive labels are present on the metal frame: an orange circular label numbered 2077 and a white rectangular label numbered 1515.
Condition report:
The glass panels appear to be structurally sound with no visible cracks, chips, or missing sections. The leading and solder lines remain intact. Minor oxidation and surface wear are present on the metal spider frame. The item shows a light accumulation of surface dust and would benefit from cleaning.
