Lot 365: Olympus IS-5000 35mm Zoom Lens Reflex Camera with 28-140mm Lens
An Olympus IS-5000 35mm Zoom Lens Reflex (ZLR) film camera. This all-in-one bridge camera features a silver-toned polycarbonate body and an integrated 28mm to 140mm zoom lens incorporating extra-low dispersion (ED) glass. The design includes a built-in intelligent twin flash system located on the top housing. Markings include a gold-toned OLYMPUS logo in relief on the front of the viewfinder housing, while the lens barrel is marked IS-5000 and ED-LENS. The top plate features the focal range 28 – 140 and denotes the INTELLIGENT TWIN FLASH. A power and mode selection dial is located on the top of the body. The camera is accompanied by a branded black and tan fabric neck strap and a black soft-sided carrying case with zip closure.
Condition report:
The camera is in good used condition. There are minor surface scuffs and light wear to the silver-toned finish consistent with age and regular handling. The front lens element appears clear, though the internal optics have not been fully inspected for dust or fungus. The shutter mechanism, zoom motor, and electronic systems are untested. The battery compartment was not inspected for corrosion.
