Lot 340: A Collection of OO Gauge Model Railway Equipment Rolling Stock Track and Scenery by Hornby Peco and Others
An extensive collection of OO gauge model railway items including locomotive components rolling stock track and architectural scenery. The lot includes a Hornby Railways Silver Jubilee Freight electric train set box lid and components associated with the set notably a Class 47 locomotive body shell in British Rail blue livery named Isambard Kingdom Brunel and numbered 47484 along with a separate 0-6-0 steam locomotive chassis.
Rolling stock comprises various goods wagons and tankers featuring liveries such as John West Pink Salmon The Mineral Lime Company Shell and BP. The collection also contains several plank wagons and various freight vans in assorted colours.
Trackage includes multiple original boxes of Peco Streamline flexible trackage system in HO/OO gauge alongside a significant quantity of loose sectional curves and straight tracks.
The scenery and architectural component of the lot consists of a large assortment of assembled card and plastic structures. Visible buildings include a town hall with a clock tower and arched entrance station platforms featuring Redbrick signage signal boxes a footbridge and tunnel mouths. Condition report:
The collection is in play-worn used condition. Architectural models show minor wear to corners and edges consistent with handling and previous layout use. Rolling stock appears largely intact but exhibits surface dust and minor scuffs. The locomotives are in a disassembled or partial state and the completeness of the original Hornby set cannot be guaranteed.
