Lot 332: A Large Scale Vintage Style Dolls Pram with Two Bisque Headed Collector Dolls
A large scale vintage style dolls perambulator featuring a white painted high coach body with a navy blue fabric folding hood and matching apron. The carriage is mounted on a chrome plated metal frame with four large diameter spoked wheels and a foot operated brake. The handle consists of a cream coloured fluted rod. The set includes two collector dolls with bisque porcelain heads, painted facial features, and synthetic wigs. The first doll features blonde ringlet hair and wears a pale pink and white lace trimmed dress. The second doll features wavy brunette hair and wears a maroon and white patterned dress with white lace details, white socks, and brown shoes. Both dolls are fitted with fixed eyes. Two adhesive labels are present on the handle, one white rectangular label marked 14 14 and one orange circular label marked 332.
Condition report:
The pram carriage and fabric components are in good condition with minor surface marks consistent with age and use. The chrome plated metal frame and spoked wheels show visible signs of age including surface oxidation and pitting. Both dolls appear to be in good condition and suitable for display.
