Lot 320: Two Framed Decorative Botanical Artworks
A set of two framed decorative artworks featuring botanical subjects. The first is a rectangular needlework piece on a cream fabric ground, depicting sunflowers and large green foliage. It is housed in a wide gilded frame with a dark green outer border and a cream mat. The second is a circular display containing an arrangement of pressed dried flowers and a moth or butterfly specimen on a textile support, presented in a deep-profile circular gilded frame. Both works are glazed. The pieces are marked with white adhesive labels bearing the numeral 2, and a small orange sticker is present on the matting of the rectangular piece.
Condition report:
Both items are in good condition. The frames show no significant damage or loss to the gilding. The needlework and dried specimens appear stable and well-preserved without visible foxing, fading, or deterioration of the organic components.
