A trio of watercolor paintings on paper depicting various Russian architectural and landscape subjects. One work portrays a winter scene of the Rostral Columns and the Old Stock Exchange building on Vasilyevsky Island in Saint Petersburg. Another work shows a riverside view of several Russian Orthodox churches with gilded onion domes set amongst greenery. The third, vertically-orientated work, depicts a wide river landscape, likely frozen, with distant architectural silhouettes. The works are executed in a representational style with a soft palette. Each painting is presented in a simple dark wood frame with an off-white card mount. No signatures or maker’s marks are visible on the front of the artworks.
