Lot 214: A Selection of Four Bottles of Sparkling Wine including Freixenet Cordon Negro Cava and Prosecco
A selection of four bottles of sparkling wine, comprising one bottle of Spanish Cava and three bottles of Italian Prosecco. The lot includes a 75cl bottle of Freixenet Cordon Negro Brut Cava, a non-vintage sparkling wine produced using the traditional method. It is presented in a matte black bottle with gold-tone labels marked Brut Selección and Premium Cava. An orange inventory sticker marked 214 is adhered to the shoulder.
The Italian selection consists of three 75cl bottles of Prosecco DOC. This includes one bottle of Castellore Prosecco Rosé Millesimato 2022, an extra dry vintage-dated sparkling wine; one bottle of Castellore Prosecco extra dry; and one bottle of E.H. Booth and Co. Prosecco Rosé Brut. The Castellore bottles feature labels typical of the producer for Aldi, while the E.H. Booth and Co. bottle represents the established independent UK grocer.
Condition report:
All four bottles appear to be in good condition and remain factory sealed with original neck foils intact. Fill levels are high, reaching into the neck for all bottles. Labels are generally well-preserved. Surface dust is present on the bottles, particularly the Freixenet Cava, consistent with storage.
