Lot 209: The Famous Grouse Blended Scotch Whisky
A bottle of The Famous Grouse Blended Scotch Whisky produced by Matthew Gloag & Son Ltd, Scotland. The clear glass bottle contains a golden amber liquid. The main paper label features the brand name in bold red lettering positioned below a central illustration of a Red Grouse. The upper section of the label bears the Royal Warrant, reading BY APPOINTMENT TO HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN above SCOTCH WHISKY BLENDERS MATTHEW GLOAG & SON LTD. The neck of the bottle is finished with a black and gold foil capsule displaying the signature of Matthew Gloag and a red top. A rectangular orange adhesive sticker with the handwritten number 209 in blue ink is attached to the shoulder of the bottle.
Condition report:
The bottle is sealed with the original foil capsule intact. The fill level is high, reaching the base of the neck, indicating minimal evaporation. The labels are in very good, clean condition with no significant staining or peeling. An adhesive inventory sticker is present on the shoulder.
