Lot 204: A Lomonosov Porcelain Figurine of a Playful Leopard Cub
A Lomonosov Porcelain Factory figurine depicting a playful leopard or cheetah cub. The animal is modelled lying on its back, grasping its tail with its front and hind paws. The piece is constructed from glazed porcelain with hand-painted polychrome decoration, featuring brown spots over a cream-coloured ground and a white underbelly. The underside of the base bears a stamped mark in reddish-brown ink consisting of a stylized Cyrillic monogram for the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory (LFZ) above the words MADE IN USSR.
Condition report:
The figurine is in good condition with no visible chips, cracks, or professional repairs. Two adhesive auction labels are present on the body. Minor shelf wear is visible to the unglazed portion of the base.
