Lot 198: Border Fine Arts Studio Russell Willis Blue Tits With Forsythia Figurine A3450
A polychrome painted bird figurine from the Border Fine Arts Studio range, designed by artist Russell Willis. The piece, titled Blue Tits With Forsythia and bearing model number A3450, depicts two blue tits (Cyanistes caeruleus) perched upon a gnarled, lichen-covered branch intertwined with blossoming yellow forsythia. The sculpture is produced in cold-cast resin and is mounted on a circular, dark-stained wooden plinth. The underside of the base features a green felt covering and a white circular paper label inscribed: Birds by Russell Willis TM, A3450, Blue Tits With Forsythia, Border Fine Arts Studio, © 2004 Russell Willis, ENESCO LTD.
Height: approximately 15 cm – 18 cm.
Condition report:
The figurine is in very good condition. The delicate petals of the forsythia flowers and the beaks and tails of the birds appear intact with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. An orange price sticker and a small white numbered sticker are present on the base.
