Lot 19: Roland Chadwick The Kiss Cold-Cast Bronze Resin Sculpture
This cold-cast bronze resin sculpture, titled The Kiss by Roland Chadwick for Heredities, depicts two nude figures in a classical embrace. The composition features a reclining female figure and a male figure with short, curly hair, both rendered with smooth musculature and set upon a naturalistic, rocky base. The piece is finished with a dark brown patina and is mounted on an oval, tiered wooden plinth with a reddish-brown finish. The sculpture exhibits the characteristic details of the 1986 design. Two secondary labels are attached: a white paper label marked with the number 4 and an orange label marked with the number 19. No artist signature or foundry marks are visible on the exterior surfaces.

The sculpture is in good overall condition. There is a light accumulation of surface dust within the deeper recesses of the cast and the texture of the base. The wooden plinth shows minor surface wear consistent with age and handling. No chips, cracks, or restorations are visible.
