The lot includes multiple split-cane bamboo sections, some decorated with green and red silk whipping and fitted with agate-style line guides. Several fiberglass and composite rods are present, including a notable yellow-blank rod and multiple dark-coloured examples. Handle designs include traditional cork grips, turned wood, and textured synthetic or rubberised materials. The collection is housed in a cardboard box and includes a grey fabric rod bag.

The items are in as found condition with visible signs of age and significant use. Notable condition issues include wear, staining, and deterioration to several cork handles, surface scratches on the rod blanks, and potential corrosion to metal guides and ferrules. Many rod sections appear to be incomplete or part of larger sets. The fabric rod bag shows signs of fraying and surface dirt.
