A group of Victorian style copper kitchenware consisting of a spirit kettle on stand and two matching food moulds. The kettle is constructed from polished copper with a gooseneck spout and a domed lid featuring a brass acorn-form finial. It is fitted with an ornate, scroll-form brass handle and rests on a matching copper and brass tripod stand. The stand contains a central spirit burner with a wick assembly. The two copper food moulds feature a multi-lobed, tiered turreted design, commonly used for jellies or blancmanges. The moulds are formed from sheet copper and exhibit a bright polished finish. The kettle body appears to be spun copper with cast brass components.
Condition report:
The items are in good overall condition with a bright, polished finish. There is minor surface wear and light scratching consistent with age and domestic use. The food moulds show small, shallow indentations to the tips of the decorative lobes. The spirit burner appears complete but remains untested.
