Live auction will start in __ days and __ hours

Start price: £2

Buyer's Premium:

A collection of decorative ceramic vessels comprising five pieces of varying styles and origins. The group includes a large bulbous vase with a cylindrical neck, crafted from cream-toned earthenware with a fine overall crackle glaze, decorated with hand-painted Chinese export style floral motifs and a geometric rim border. A twin-handled ovoid vase features blue panels, raised gilt scrolling, and a central hand-painted floral medallion on a yellow ground. The collection also contains a pair of ornate ewers with high scrolled handles and scalloped pouring spouts, featuring relief-moulded scrollwork and hand-painted floral details in a pastel palette. Completing the group is a small globular vase with a ruffled rim, featuring heavy raised-gilt moriage scrollwork and a central band of hand-painted purple and yellow roses. Several pieces bear small white labels with the numeral 2 and orange labels marked 120. No manufacturer stamps or signatures are visible to the exterior surfaces.

Condition report:

The large floral vase shows prominent all-over glaze crazing consistent with age. The twin-handled vase and the pair of ewers appear to be in good condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs to the delicate relief-moulded elements. The small globular vase appears intact with no visible loss to the raised gilt decoration. The bases of the vessels have not been inspected for marks or potential concealed damage.
