Lot 111: A Service of Art Deco Style Silver-Plated Flatware
A service of Art Deco style silver-plated flatware, presented in several card presentation boxes. The comprehensive collection includes table knives, dessert knives, table forks, dessert forks, soup spoons, dessert spoons, teaspoons, and serving pieces such as a cake slice and a large serving spoon. The spoons and forks are decorated with geometric handles featuring diagonal cross-hatched or chevron bands at the terminals and bolsters. The knives are designed with tapering, reeded columnar handles. Marks are visible on the reverse of the pieces and on the knife blades, though they are not clearly legible for transcription. A number of the items are still contained within their original protective plastic sleeves.
Condition report:
The flatware is in overall good, polished condition. Several pieces remain in their original plastic packaging. The card presentation boxes show varying degrees of wear, including surface scuffs and some torn paper linings. There are small adhesive labels present on several boxes and individual items.
