Lot 99: A Collection of Decorative Wooden and Ceramic Items, Including an Australian Flora Pyrography Platter signed Konigson
A collection of decorative objects, featuring a large circular wooden platter with a central polychrome pyrography and painted arrangement of Australian flora. The composition includes a central Waratah blossom, seed pods, and various native blooms. The platter is signed in script to the upper right Konigson. The lot also includes several wooden boxes of varying forms: a rectangular box with a deeply carved floral lid, a smaller plain rectangular box, and a shaped box with a carved foliate design. Also present are partial views of a brown-glazed textured ceramic bowl and a white ceramic plate featuring a polychrome floral border.
Condition report:
The items exhibit age-related surface wear, including light scratches and scuffs to the wooden surfaces and painted decoration. Several items bear orange adhesive price labels and residue. The ceramics are shown as partial examples and may be incomplete.
