Lot 57: A Cased Silver-Plated and Stainless Steel Flatware Service for Six

The set comprises dinner knives and side knives with cream-coloured imitation bone handles, alongside dinner forks, dessert forks, dessert spoons, and soup spoons. The knife blades are constructed from stainless steel and bear etched circular marks for Sheffield, England. The collection also includes serving spoons and a ladle. The pieces are presented in a fitted black canteen box with a red velvet-lined interior. A label in the lid reading Fine Hand Painted Quality is partially visible, though it appears unrelated to the cutlery set itself. The pattern is in the mid-century style, featuring a central floral motif flanked by scrolls.
Condition report:
The set is in good used condition. There is light surface scratching and minor tarnishing across the silver-plated pieces, consistent with age and use.
