Lot 512: A Collection of Assorted Fountain and Ballpoint Pens including Parker
This lot consists of a collection of assorted writing instruments, primarily comprising fountain pens and ballpoint pens. Notable items include a slim-bodied pen in blue and silver-toned finishes housed within a clear plastic case marked PARKER with the brand’s signature arrow logo. Another prominent item is a fountain pen featuring a blue marbled-effect resin barrel and cap, accented with gold-toned trim and a clip in the style of a Parker arrow. The assortment also contains a tapered black resin pen with a gold-toned band, a burgundy resin pen, and several silver-toned metal pens of various designs. The collection is presented in various states of packaging, including a red velvet-lined sleeve and a distressed textured gold and black cardboard box. A small white tag marked with the number 5 is also present.
Condition report:
The items are in a used, vintage condition. There is visible surface wear, including scratching and scuffing, across the pen bodies. Brassing and tarnishing are present on the gold-toned clips and bands. The clear plastic Parker case shows surface scratching. The textured gold cardboard box is in poor condition, exhibiting significant tears and structural damage. All items are sold as seen; nibs have not been inspected for wear and filling systems remain untested.
