Lot 486: Four Various Wrought Iron Garden Chairs
Four of metal garden chairs of varying designs, constructed from wrought and cast metal. The first chair features a Gothic revival style back with a central pointed arch containing vertical slats, flanked by uprights with barley-twist decorative sections and topped with spherical finials. It is fitted with a woven metal strap seat. The second chair has a rectangular backrest featuring a square lattice or grid pattern, also topped with spherical finials and featuring a woven metal strap seat. The third chair is of a more industrial or modernist design, featuring horizontal flat metal slats to both the backrest and the seat, with spherical finials to the uprights. All three chairs are supported on bases with arched supports and reinforcing cross-stretcher bars. No maker marks or stamps were identified during inspection.
