Lot 423: Mahogany-Finished Open-Fronted Bookcase with Vertical Storage Dividers
A large open-fronted bookcase or storage unit constructed with mahogany-finished wood and veneers. The unit features a shaped, scrolling pediment at the top, embellished with a central carved foliate motif. The front is flanked by reeded pilaster details. The interior is configured with a large upper section containing pre-drilled holes for adjustable shelving, above a lower section with a fixed horizontal shelf and four vertical dividers, suitable for storing records, sheet music, or large volumes. The piece is designed in a traditional style. A small yellow auction lot sticker is present on the top edge.

The unit appears in good overall condition with minor surface wear and light scuffing consistent with age and use. The piece is shown lying on its back. No loose shelves are present for the upper section.
