Lot 413: A Collection of Vintage Evening Bags and Embroidered Footwear
A collection of assorted evening accessories and footwear. The lot includes several clutch bags of varying designs: one features all-over black beadwork with a swirling gold and red beaded motif, another displays a woven geometric pattern in gold and bronze tones, and a third has a metallic gold-tone finish. The collection also contains a pair of fabric slippers or loafers featuring a blue Oriental-style floral brocade pattern with red and green accents. A small cylindrical decorative case with a floral pattern is also included. The items are presented in a clear plastic container with adhesive labels marked 15 and 413. No maker’s marks or brand labels are visible on the items.
Condition report:
The items are in used condition with visible signs of wear. The fabric loafers show wear and discolouration to the interior linings. General surface wear, light scuffing to the bags, and potential minor bead loss or loose threads are present, consistent with previous use.
