Lot 366: An Assortment of Synthetic Webbing Lifting Slings and Lashing Straps
This lot comprises an assortment of heavy-duty polyester webbing lifting slings and lashing straps, contained within a white plastic storage bin. The collection includes multiple purple webbing slings, which are colour-coded to indicate a Working Load Limit (WLL) of 1,000kg (1 tonne) under BS EN 1492 standards, and a green webbing sling, typically indicating a WLL of 2,000kg (2 tonnes). The assortment features both flat webbing and endless round sling varieties. Additionally, there is a bundle of white synthetic lashing or tie-down straps. No manufacturer labels, serial numbers, or safety certification tags are clearly visible or legible on the items. A lot sticker numbered 366 16 is affixed to the side of the bin.
Condition report:
The items are in used industrial condition with visible surface soiling, staining, and grease consistent with previous use. Minor fraying is evident on some webbing edges. Safety and capacity tags are missing or illegible. Due to the nature of the items, all used lifting equipment must be thoroughly inspected and certified by a competent person under Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) before being returned to service.
