Lot 332: Black & Decker DN400 Electric Saw
A vintage Black & Decker DN400 corded electric saw. The tool is designed with a moulded black plastic housing and integrated handle, featuring a prominent orange plastic trigger switch. It is equipped with a metal guide bar and saw chain. A manufacturer’s label is affixed to the side, clearly displaying the Black & Decker logo and the model number DN400. Additional characters including 322748 are also visible on the label. The item includes an attached black power cable. Present on the body are a small white sticker with the number 19 and an orange price or inventory tag marked 332.
Condition report:
The tool is in heavily used vintage condition. The plastic exterior shows a significant build-up of dust, dirt, and wear consistent with age and previous use. The metal bar and chain are affected by extensive surface rust and oxidisation. While the power cord is present, the terminal connector appears to be damaged or incomplete.
