The collection includes a fork with a green-painted metal shaft featuring a Spear & Jackson maker’s mark in the form of a circular green and gold decal. Other forks in the lot feature a variety of materials and finishes, including blue-painted metal with a blue plastic D-handle, grey-painted metal with a grey plastic D-handle, and wooden shafts with black plastic D-handles. The fork heads are constructed of metal, showing traditional four-pronged spading designs. The additional tool handle is constructed from plain wood and bears yellow tape markings. Condition report:
The tools are in used, functional condition. All metal fork heads show visible surface oxidation and rust. The wooden shafts and plastic handles exhibit scuffing, wear, and surface dirt consistent with regular garden use. One fork has a handwritten paper tag attached.
