Lot 267: A Vintage Cut Lead Crystal Rose Bowl with Metal Mesh Flower Frog
This spherical rose bowl is crafted from heavy lead crystal and features a removable silver-toned wire mesh grid, or flower frog, designed to support floral stems. The body of the bowl is decorated with a complex geometric pattern consisting of large multi-point stars and panels of fine diamond-cut motifs. The base also features a cut star design. The cutting is deep and sharp, characteristic of high-quality crystal production. There are two adhesive inventory labels attached to the metal grid: a white rectangular label printed with the number 5 and an orange rectangular label with the handwritten number 267. No manufacturer marks or signatures are visible on the glass.
