Lot 257e: Two Smurf Toy Items Including a Boxed Toy Island Smurfette Roadster and a Collection of PVC Figures
This lot comprises two items featuring characters from The Smurfs. The first is a boxed play set titled Smurfette and her Die Cast Roadster, manufactured by Toy Island. The set includes a pink die-cast metal vehicle with a yellow rear compartment and a plastic Smurfette figure in her signature white dress and hat. The original packaging is cardboard with a plastic blister front, bearing the Toy Island logo, assistant number 13020, and a copyright date of 1996 for Peyo, licenced through I.M.P.S. (Brussels). The second item is a collection of loose miniature figures contained within a clear plastic jar with a red screw-top lid. The figures are moulded PVC and depict a variety of Smurf characters in different poses. These figures are consistent with those produced by manufacturers such as Schleich and Peyo.
