This lot comprises two pieces of decorative art glass, likely dating from the mid-to-late 20th century. The first item is a solid clear glass spherical paperweight featuring a controlled internal air bubble pattern, a technique known as bullicante, which was widely utilised by glassworks such as Whitefriars and various Murano makers. The second item is an elongated ovoid or teardrop-shaped sculpture containing internal ribbon-like swirls of blue, orange, and yellow glass surrounding a central dark blue core. This form and decoration are consistent with the style of studio glass produced by Adam Jablonski, although no signature is visible. The spherical weight is marked with an orange sticker bearing the handwritten number 24. The teardrop sculpture bears a small white sticker with the printed number 5 and an orange sticker near the base marked with the number 25.
Condition report:
Both items appear to be in good condition with no visible chips, cracks, or significant surface abrasions. The glass retains good clarity.
