Lot 165: A Trio of Decorative Trinket Boxes and Miniature Accessories
A trio of small decorative objects comprising two trinket boxes and one ceramic insert. The collection features a rectangular ceramic insert attributed to Nora Fleming in the Love Blooms Here pattern, displaying a blue body and a lid with moulded fruit decoration including a peach and grapes; the piece is pierced with three small holes. Also included is a cast metal trinket box fashioned as a woven basket with a hinged lid and handle. The group is completed by a larger rectangular box with a dark-coloured textured finish, embellished with a large pink relief bow and floral motif. Several items retain orange adhesive price or lot tags, one bearing the number 165. No maker’s marks or hallmarks are visible.
Condition report:
All items appear to be in good condition. There are no visible chips, cracks, or significant losses to the ceramic or metal components. Some light surface wear and adhesive residue from labels are present.
