A mid-century ceramic vase of tall, straight-sided cylindrical form, manufactured by Carstens Tonnieshof in West Germany. The piece features a light beige earthenware body with a fine, vertically combed slip texture. The exterior is decorated with a series of dark brown, raised relief lines in an abstract, jagged horizontal pattern. The item bears an original gold-coloured foil label stating Tonnieshof Carstens W.-Germany. Two small adhesive stickers are present on the lower body.
