An assortment of hardback volumes primarily focused on natural history and ornithology. The lead volume is Alan J. Richards’ ‘The Birdwatcher’s A-Z’, published by David & Charles (Newton Abbot) in 1980. This work is an encyclopaedic reference for birdwatchers and is presented in a light-coloured pictorial dust jacket showing observers in a field landscape. Also visible in the collection is a volume by David Attenborough, identifiable by the green dust jacket and vertical spine text. A further large-format volume is present, featuring a detailed colour illustration of an owl on the cover. Several additional book spines and edges are visible within the grouping, indicating a wider selection of related titles in various sizes and bindings.
Condition report:
The volumes exhibit typical signs of shelf wear and handling. Dust jackets show visible edge wear, light scuffing, and minor creasing. Two sets of auction lot stickers (orange stickers numbered 127 and white stickers numbered 14) have been applied directly to the dust jackets. Internal pages have not been inspected for foxing, inscriptions, or ownership marks. The bindings appear generally sound.
