A collection of decorative bust sculptures rendered in an ivory-coloured composition material, presented in various ethnographic styles. The group includes a bust with a stylised head featuring deeply incised vertical lines representing hair or a headdress; a taller, more slender bust depicting a figure in a segmented ceremonial headdress with cross-hatch detailing, mounted on a dark square plinth; and a pair of matching smaller female busts with smooth, stylised features and swept-back hair, each mounted on a dark, faceted wooden base. The pieces exhibit a smooth, slightly translucent surface with a high-gloss finish, intended to mimic the appearance of carved ivory or bone. Each item bears an orange adhesive label marked 122, and two items also feature small white labels marked 14. No maker’s marks, factory stamps, or artist signatures are visible on the surfaces shown.
Condition report:
The collection appears to be in good overall condition, with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. There is some minor surface dust and light wear consistent with handling and display.
