A collection of French lead crystal glassware manufactured by Cristal d’Arques, primarily in the Longchamp pattern. The group comprises various forms including tall tumblers and stemmed wine or water goblets. The Longchamp pattern is characterised by a band of deep diamond-cut facets around the base transitioning into tall vertical fan-like cuts toward the rim. The items are produced from 24 per cent lead crystal. Several pieces retain their original gold-toned oval adhesive labels bearing the maker’s name and the inscription France. A small number of items in the background feature an alternative traditional cut glass design with diamond and fan motifs. The glassware is currently marked with orange and white auction house lot stickers.
