Lot 523: Vintage Abru Blue-Painted Steel Toolbox, Made in Britain
A vintage portable metal toolbox manufactured by Abru. This item is fabricated from steel with a blue-painted finish. The lid features a central embossed manufacturer mark for Abru and a shield-shaped decal depicting the Union Jack with the text Made in Britain. The toolbox is designed with a double-lid opening mechanism and features two integrated swing handles. A central slot is provided for a padlock. The exterior displays two contemporary auction lot stickers, one printed 19 19 and one handwritten S23 on an orange ground.

The item is in well-used condition. There is extensive surface corrosion, pitting, and widespread paint loss across the entire exterior. Handles and hinges appear functional.
