This lot comprises an assortment of miscellaneous ironmongery and decorative architectural elements. The collection includes multiple black-painted cast iron double-arm harness hooks, typically used for horse tack. Also present is a black iron twisted finial with a ball terminal and various support brackets. Included in the lot is a plastic bag containing a quantity of cream-coloured metal curtain rings with eyelets. The collection is completed by white-painted ornate architectural fragments featuring classical acanthus leaf scrollwork, likely made from moulded plaster or resin. No maker’s marks are visible, although one iron component bears a small adhesive label with the numeral 2.
Condition report:
The items show signs of wear consistent with age and previous use. There is visible surface oxidation and rust, particularly on the twisted iron finial. The painted finishes on the curtain rings and hardware show weathering, distressing, and minor losses. The architectural fragments exhibit minor surface wear.
