Lot 903: A Decorative White Metal Rectangular Pen Tray with Twin Shell Handles
An elongated rectangular tray crafted from white metal, likely intended as a pen or snuffer tray, featuring twin shell-shaped handles. The tray displays elaborate embossed and chased decoration consisting of foliate and floral motifs surrounding a plain rectangular central reserve. The rim is finished with a gadrooned border. The underside shows the negative impressions of the repousse work. Small stamped marks are present on the upper surface of one handle, although these are not clearly legible.
