Lot 87: A Pair of Modern Pewter Pricket Chambersticks
A pair of contemporary pewter chambersticks. Each piece is designed with a wide saucer-form drip pan featuring a central pricket spike, supported by a turned baluster-style stem. The candlesticks are fitted with decorative scrolling side handles and sit upon stepped, circular flared bases. The pewter has been finished with a uniform, brushed satin texture typical of modern reproductions. No maker’s marks or touchmarks are visible on either item.
Condition report:
Both items appear to be in good overall condition with no visible dents or structural damage. Small orange adhesive labels are present on the drip pans which require removal. There are minor surface marks and light scratches consistent with handling and storage.
