Live auction will start in __ days and __ hours

Start price: £2

Buyer's Premium:

A group of two ceramic items. The first is an earthenware teapot modelled as a traditional thatched cottage, a style popularly known as cottage ware. It features a textured brown roof that forms the lid, cream-coloured walls with painted timber-framing, and small floral details. The form and decoration are consistent with mid-20th-century English pottery manufacturers such as Price Kensington or Keele Street Potteries. The second item is a porcelain or fine bone china cream jug of Rococo design. It features a wide scalloped rim, a footed base, and a prominent scrolled handle fashioned in a branch-like form with a textured green and gilt finish. The white ground is decorated with hand-painted floral sprays in yellow and white. Neither item displays a visible manufacturer’s mark.

Condition report:

Both items are in good vintage condition. The cottage ware teapot shows no obvious chips, cracks, or restoration. The porcelain cream jug exhibits light surface wear to the gilding on the rim and handle consistent with age and use.
