Start price: £2

Buyer's Premium:

This lot comprises a trio of fountain pens including two Parker models and one Waterman model. The first is a Parker Vacumatic fountain pen, likely a Standard or Major model, constructed from black celluloid. It features a gold-filled cap band with a chevron or Greek key pattern and a split arrow clip. The barrel is incised with the characters MADE IN CANADA, PARKER VACUMATIC, and REG TM. This pen utilises a Vacumatic plunger filling system concealed beneath a blind cap at the end of the barrel. The second is a Waterman Expert fountain pen featuring a blue marbled resin body and cap with gold-plated trim. The wide gold-toned cap band is inscribed WATERMAN PARIS. It is fitted with an Art Deco style Waterman clip featuring a central cut-out. The third is a Parker 51 Aerometric fountain pen with a hooded nib design. The barrel is composed of navy blue resin and is incised with PARKER MADE IN ENGLAND near the clutch ring. The cap is gold-filled with a standard Parker arrow clip. This model contains an internal Aerometric squeeze filling system.

Condition report:

The Parker Vacumatic shows surface scratches and general wear consistent with age, including minor brassing to the gold-filled clip and cap band. The Waterman Expert is in generally good condition with light surface wear. The Parker 51 barrel exhibits significant tooth marks or heavy scuffing at the distal end, and the cap shows light surface scratching with a dull finish. The filling mechanisms and nib conditions have not been functionally tested.
