A reproduction oak side table or lowboy designed in the William and Mary revival style. The table features a rectangular solid oak top with a molded edge. A single long drawer is positioned below the top, fitted with two brass batwing-plate drop handles. The drawer sits above a decorative scalloped apron featuring pierced heart and diamond-shaped cut-outs. The piece is supported on four bulbous vase-and-ring turned legs, which are interconnected by a matching H-stretcher. The legs terminate in block feet. The table is finished with a dark oak stain and a high-gloss lacquer. No maker marks are visible on the exterior. A small yellow inventory or auction sticker is present on the top surface.
Condition report:
The table shows signs of general wear consistent with age and domestic use. There are visible surface scratches and areas of fading to the high-gloss finish on the top surface. The legs and stretchers exhibit scuffing and minor losses to the finish, particularly around the feet and lower edges.
