A mid-century modern teak two-tier trolley or hostess cart, following a design attributed to Brdr Furbo, Denmark, circa 1960s. The structure features an angled A-frame side support design crafted from solid teak, which holds two rectangular teak-veneered shelves. The upper shelf is designed with a raised gallery edge on the two shorter sides to secure items during transport, while the lower shelf is flat. The unit is supported by four tapered legs that terminate in original metal-housed ball casters. No maker’s marks, stamps, or labels are visible on the surfaces shown.
Condition report:
The item is in fair to good vintage condition. There are visible surface scratches, scuffs, and areas of finish wear across the wooden frame and shelving, consistent with age and domestic use. The structure remains sound and stable, and the casters appear functional. The wood would benefit from a light restoration and re-oiling to refresh the grain and finish.
