Lot 713: George III Style Mahogany Serpentine Side Table
A 20th-century George III style mahogany side or console table of serpentine form, in the style of the Baker Furniture Historic Charleston collection. The shaped top is set above a three-drawer frieze featuring flame mahogany veneers and crossbanded borders. The central and left-hand drawers are fitted with circular brass rosette knobs; the right-hand drawer is fitted with a non-matching brass ring pull. The table is raised on four square tapered legs, with the front stiles featuring vertical fluted detailing.
Condition report:
The table appears to be in good overall condition with minor surface scratches, scuffs, and wear consistent with age and use. The right-hand drawer handle is a non-matching replacement. A small adhesive lot label is present on the top left corner of the surface.
