Lot 678: A 20th Century Decorative Gilt Ceramic Table Lamp with Scalloped Fabric Shade
A traditional-style table lamp comprising a bulbous ceramic body with a deep emerald green glaze. The body is decorated with a gilded foliate and floral spray motif and is mounted onto a circular, tiered wooden base with a polished finish. The lamp is fitted with a cream-coloured pleated fabric shade of scalloped form, similar in style to a ballerina shade. The shade is finished with a decorative trim consisting of a central floral brocade band in shades of peach and cream, bordered by green grosgrain ribbon. The lamp is fitted with a white electrical lead and a standard UK three-pin plug. This item has not been tested for electrical safety. It is recommended that the lamp be inspected and PAT tested by a qualified electrician before use. An orange auction lot sticker numbered 678 is present on the upper rim of the shade.

The item appears to be in good overall condition. The ceramic body shows no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. The shade remains clean and retains its shape. Minor surface wear consistent with age and use is present on the wooden base.
