Lot 673: An Assortment of Decorative Curtain Hardware and Timber Components
A collection of household furnishing elements comprising several cream-painted wooden curtain poles, each terminating in decorative finials with a carved artichoke motif. These are accompanied by a series of matching wooden curtain rings fitted with metal eyelets. The lot further includes a mahogany-toned rectangular wooden panel with light-coloured timber edging, bearing small orange adhesive labels marked 673 and a white label marked 2 2. Additionally, there is a long, heavily weathered cylindrical object with a white-painted surface and significant dark staining and surface deterioration.
Condition report:
The items exhibit visible signs of use and age. The curtain poles and rings show surface abrasions, scuffs, and minor paint loss. The wooden panel has visible tape residue and the remains of adhesive labels. The long cylindrical object is heavily weathered with extensive surface staining, cracking, and loss of finish.
