Start price: £2

Buyer's Premium:

An assortment of vintage and antique hand tools and workshop components, likely dating from the early to mid-20th century. The collection includes a hand-operated pump with a cylindrical metal body and a turned wooden handle, a metal hand brace, a wire rake head, and a large curved metal blade, potentially from a scythe or billhook. Additionally, the lot contains several turned wooden handles in various profiles and sizes, suitable for mallets, hammers, or similar striking tools. The items are constructed from wrought iron, steel, and timber. An orange adhesive lot sticker numbered 617 is attached to the front of the storage bin. No manufacturer stamps, maker’s marks, or patent dates were discernible during inspection. The collection is housed within a clear plastic storage container.

Condition report:

The items are in an as found, unrestored condition consistent with workshop or barn storage. Significant surface oxidation and heavy rust are present across all metal surfaces. The wooden components display considerable wear, including ingrained dirt, weathering, and some age-related splitting. The items are currently non-functional and are offered as a project lot for restoration, decorative display, or as theatrical props.
