Lot 613: Vintage Plastic Cantilever Tool or Tackle Box with Multi-Compartment Trays
A portable cantilever-style tool or tackle box, likely dating from the late 20th century. The exterior is constructed from textured grey molded plastic and features a rectangular recessed area on the lid where a manufacturer’s label was formerly located. The interior contains a deep main storage well and a system of articulated, multi-compartment trays made of red molded plastic, designed for organising small components, tools, or fishing tackle. The box is fitted with two black and grey plastic latches on the front. While the design is reminiscent of products by manufacturers such as Plano, no maker’s marks or patent dates are visible on the item.

The item is in good, used condition. Visible surface dust and light scuffing are present across the exterior and interior, consistent with age and regular utility. The internal tray mechanism and latches appear to be intact and complete.
