A small traditional-style circular stool or plant stand, constructed from stained hardwood with a medium oak-coloured finish. The solid circular top is finished with a bullnose moulded edge and is supported by three splayed, ring-turned legs. The underside features a central indentation and two adhesive labels, one being an orange sticker with handwritten numerals and a partially obscured white rectangular label. This item is a common vernacular furniture form typical of mid-20th century country styling.
Condition report:
The stool displays signs of regular use and wear consistent with age. There is noticeable finish loss and scuffing around the outer edge of the circular top and at the base of the legs. Minor surface scratches and indentations are present across the timber surfaces.
