This lot comprises an assortment of cast metal components for wall lights or sconces, designed in the Rococo or Louis XV style. The collection includes multiple scrolling branches, scalloped drip pans, and urn-shaped nozzles. The decorative scheme features ornate foliate motifs and scrolling acanthus leaves. The components are constructed from a cast base metal, likely brass or bronze, finished with a gold-coloured gilding. One section is currently bound with white cord. An orange rectangular tag marked 430 is attached to the container. No maker marks, signatures, or foundry stamps are visible on the surfaces of these items.
Condition report:
The items are in a disassembled state and appear to be components for multiple fixtures. There is visible wear and rubbing to the gilt finish across many of the surfaces, revealing the darker base metal beneath. Surface oxidation and minor dirt accumulations are present.
