A three-arm wall sconce designed in the Rococo style, crafted from cast metal with a gilt finish. The fixture features elaborate scrolled arms radiating from a central mounting point, intricately decorated with foliate and acanthus leaf motifs. Each arm terminates in a decorative bobeche containing a bayonet-type (B22) bulb holder. The item is fitted with modern plastic-coated wiring in brown, blue, and black, which remains unfinished with exposed ends. No maker’s marks are present, although the reverse displays inventory stickers numbered 429 and 2.
Condition report:
The sconce shows surface wear and some dulling to the gilt finish consistent with age and use. One socket assembly is slightly loose. The wiring is unfinished and must be professionally rewired and safety tested by a qualified electrician before use. No shades are present.
