Lot 424: A Collection of Vintage Glassware, Ceramics, and Promotional Collectibles
This lot features a collection of assorted glassware, ceramics, and promotional items. Included is a limited edition Coca-Cola collector glass produced for McDonald’s in 2011, commemorating the 1899 bottle design for the brand’s 125th anniversary, housed in its original printed cardboard sleeve. Also present is a clear glass champagne flute with an etched bowl, presented in a blue Celebrations brand gift box with a pink satin-style lining. The ceramic pieces include a large scalloped bowl with a cream-coloured centre decorated with floral and landscape vignettes, a deep burgundy border, and gilt-effect scrolling. This sits atop a larger art glass bowl featuring concentric striped rings in yellow, red, and green. The collection further includes three small glass tumblers in yellow, blue, and green, each decorated with a frosted foliate band. Completing the lot are several clear pressed glass bowls, a small undecorated terracotta dish, and a large pale green glass storage bottle featuring a wire-bale flip-top closure and a white ceramic stopper. Several items retain small orange price stickers and white inventory labels.
Condition report:
The items generally appear to be in good used condition. No significant chips or cracks are visible on the glassware or ceramics. The promotional packaging for the Coca-Cola glass and the gift box for the champagne flute show some signs of shelf wear and light creasing. Minor surface wear and light gilt loss are present on the large scalloped bowl.
